Getting in the venue was a mess - the doors opened late and there were crowds of people outside waiting to enter. Security was yelling at us to move but there was nowhere to go. BUT once we were finally able to enter it was great - a nice, clean concert hall with plenty of seating. Staff was nice and did their jobs. We stayed at Caesars and loved the fact we were only a few steps away when the concert was over. The venue is literally located RIGHT on the boardwalk, so convenient!
This was our second time attending a concert here. The first time was Twenty One Pilots in 2019. This time, Florence and the Machine was moved here from Philly with one week notice. The tickets RJ purchased were front row in our section, but with "limited view" which was described as "possible infrastructure or lighting". We thought oh no big deal, maybe some sound equipment or a railing. Ok, these should have been sold as completely obstructed view. An employee from down below handed new tickets to RJ after the concert started if we wanted to move. But the row is so small and tight, I am 5 ft tall and had no leg room. We were all jammed against the railing. We thought that was nice but wished it had happened before the concert started, or that she came to the row and got us out rather than handing them up to us. No way was I going to try to get out by making 12-14 people move 1 song into the concert. So we only know they were higher up, but did not use them. At least I could see if I leaned to the left, but RJ looked at the back of this camera man all night!
At the Fantasia & Anthony Hamilton Concert, nice venue. I've always been perplexed about venues having metal detectors & wanes to detect weapons; regulations require small purses/bags, lines of thousands of people are held up to physically search the small bags, exactly what are they looking for, folks still get weed/Marijuana inside (this statement is for all venues). Once inside, a variety of food stands, now days, everything is pretty pricey, but nice selections. The concert was great and it was welcoming, this time I didn't get a contact from the weed fumes filling the air. Someone, was able to fire up but security was on it, good job!
My first time at this venue! Abundant garage parking nearby. A little expensive but so worth it! This venue is right on the boardwalk. Feet from the ocean and lots of things to do nearby. When you enter venue, look around. Tons of history here. I love how there isn't a bad seat anywhere in this venue. Definitely recommend going to a concert here!
Beautiful, classic venue with good acoustics, and a lovely art Deco style. We had fantastic seats and it seemed like there weren't bad seats in the place. It was easy to navigate.
